AFEX - Awards of the AFEX Grand Prix for French architecture worldwide
As part of its mission, AFEX, French Architects for Export, has been organising the AFEX Grand Prix for French Architecture Worldwide since 2010.
The 2025 edition will reward buildings delivered abroad by French architects between 1 January 2023 and 31 December 2024, which have been singled out for their quality of design and execution.
Their designers must be registered with the Ordre national des architectes. Their agency is domiciled in France. They are not necessarily members of AFEX.
The aim of the Grand Prix and its associated events is to publicise and promote the quality of French architectural production abroad, in France and throughout the world. They also aim to promote and share the approach and knowledge acquired by French architects abroad.
The winners of the ten projects selected by the Jury were announced at MIPIM in Cannes on 11 March at 5.30pm, in the presence of several of the prize-winners.
The Jury will meet a second time on 2 April to select the AFEX 2025 Grand Prize from this shortlist.
As part of a partnership with French Design by Via, a Special Jury Prize for Interior Architecture will be awarded this year.
These prizes will be announced and awarded to their winners on 8 May in Venice during the Architecture Biennale.
