A lecture by two voices - the surgeon and the architect

Michel Rémon today took part in a series of lectures on heritage excellence organised by the Hôpital Édouard Herriot (HEH). He was accompanied by Professor Olivier Monneuse, Head of the Emergency Surgery Department at the HCL, who spoke on the following topic:

‘Pavillon H: making exceptional medicine a reality’.

A fluid and interesting dialogue correlating the architect's work and his thoughts on Pavillon H, sketched out in pencil to best respect the spirit of Tony Garnier, as well as the complex and essential medical project of Hôpital Edouard Herriot. The architect has succeeded in delivering a functional and useful facility for the nursing staff who work there and the patients who stay there.

Many thanks to Laetitia Gignoux, Head of General Affairs and Communications for the Groupement Hospitalier Centre, for organising the event, and to Evolène Muller-Rappard, Project Manager for the modernisation of the Hôpital Edouard Herriot, for her warm welcome.
